Workers’ Compensation Specialist/Risk Management

Stephenson & Brook, a North Shore boutique firm specializing in workers’ compensation risk management, seeks an experienced claims specialist to represent our employer based clientele. This fast paced position requires the ability to multi-task as you will be responsible for multiple accounts involving numerous claims. Follow through from onset of claim to closing may include: evaluating settlements, developing strategies to bring claim to close, preparing reports, onsite client reviews, court and hearing appearances, and negotiating reserves with carriers.

Requirements:

• Strong customer service skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Awareness of and ability to meet deadlines
• Computer proficiency
• Reliable transportation as some travel is necessary

Sales Representative

• a proven sales track record and/or 2 plus years in the insurance industry
• the ability to manage all aspects of the sales cycle, prospect to close
• the ability to concurrently manage multiple accounts at various stages
• excellent communication skills/presentation skills
• self starter with a strong work ethic
